Bernadette Peters, Ron Raines, Stephen Sondheim et al. to Sign Follies CDs at Barnes & Noble

Composer/lyricist Stephen Sondheim and cast members from the Broadway production of Follies — including stars Bernadette Peters, Jan Maxwell, Danny Burstein, Ron Raines, and Elaine Paige — will sign copies of the new 2011 cast recording at the Barnes & Noble at 150 E. 86th St (between Lexington & 3rd Ave.) on Thursday, December 1, beginning promptly at 4pm and ending at 5:30pm.

As previously reported, PS Classics will release the recording on November 29. The album will be a two disc set, and include not only the songs, but dance music, dialogue lead-ins, scenes and speeches. The album is produced by Tommy Krasker.

Follies features a book by James Goldman and music and lyrics by Sondheim. The Broadway revival is directed by Eric Schaeffer with choreography by Warren Carlyle and music direction by James Moore. The production is now playing at the Marquis Theatre through January 22, 2012.
