Balls...the Musical? to Play Lion Theatre in December

By New York City
Balls...the Musical?, recently seen at the 2011 New York Musical Theatre Festival, will play the Lion Theatre, December 7-24.

The work, subtitled "A Bro-tastic Musical Parody," is created by Bret Carr, Mick Bonde, Brandon Ellis, Michael "Tuba" McKinsey, and Nick Verina, who describe the "not so politically correct world" of the modern-day straight man in musical theatre.

Kasey Marino will direct the production, which features original NYMF cast members Mick Bonde, Bret Carr, Brandon Ellis, and Will Ray, along with two-time Emmy Award-winner Nikkieli DeMone.

The creative team will include Sonny Paladino (music director), Abby Lee (choreographer/assistant director), Timothy Parish (lighting design), and Jessica Paz (sound design).
