Tammy Blanchard, Christopher J. Hanke, Rose Hemingway, John Larroquette, Daniel Radcliffe, et al. Set for Broadway’s How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying

Additional casting has been announced for the Broadway revival of How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying. As previously announced, Rob Ashford will direct and choreograph the production which will begin performances at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre on February 25, with an opening on March 27.

Joining previously announced stars Daniel Radcliffe (J. Pierrepont Finch ) and John Larroquette (J.B. Biggley), will be Tammy Blanchard (Hedy La Rue), Christopher J. Hanke (Bud Frump), Rob Bartlett (Twimble/Wally Womper), Mary Faber (Smitty), Ellen Harvey (Miss Jones) and Rose Hemingway, (Rosemary Pilkington). Additional casting will be announced shortly.

Hemingway appeared in Parade at the Donmar Warehouse and the Mark Taper Forum, and was seen in the national tour of Mamma Mia!. Blanchard won an Emmy Award for her portrayal of the young Judy Garland in the miniseries Life With Judy Garland: Me and My Shadows. On Broadway, she starred as Louise in Gypsy, opposite Bernadette Peters.

Hanke’s Broadway credits include Cry-Baby, Rent, and In My Life. Bartlett has appeared on Broadway in Chicago, The Odd Couple, Little Shop of Horrors, and Sweet Charity, among others. Faber has appeared on Broadway in Avenue Q and American Idiot. Harvey’s theater credits include Thou Shalt Not on Broadway.

The musical follows a wily window washer on his riotous rise up the corporate ladder. The show features a score by Frank Loesser and a book by Abe Burrows, Jack Weinstock, and Willie Gilbert. Songs include “I Believe in You,” “Happy to Keep His Dinner Warm,” “The Company Way,” “Been a Long Day,” “Rosemary,” and “Brotherhood of Man.”

The creative team will include Derek McLane (scenic design), Catherine Zuber (costume design), Howell Binkley (lighting design), Jon Weston (sound design), Doug Besterman (orchestrations), and David Chase (music director and arranger).
