Susan Boyle, Glee‘s Darren Criss Top Billboard Charts

The Glee recording of Katy Perry’s “Teenage Dream” has risen to the top of Billboard’s Digital Songs chart, with 214,000 copies sold. The song features lead vocals by new cast member Darren Criss, and backing vocals by Tufts University’s Beelzebubs.

Meanwhile, Susan Boyle’s newest disc The Gift has risen to the No. 1 spot on the Billboard 200 chart with 318,000 copies. Newcomers to this week’s Billboard 200 Chart include Bon Jovi’s Greatest Hits, featuring Tony Award winner David Bryan, which debuted in the fifth spot with 88,000 copies, and Broadway veteran Reba McEntire, who took the seventh spot with “All The Women I Am,” which sold 64,000 copies.

“Teenage Dream,” along with 17 other songs from the show, will be released, as previously announced, on November 30 as part of Glee: The Music, Volume 4. Performing on the disc will be guest stars such as Gwyneth Paltrow, along with series regulars Matthew Morrison, Lea Michele, Jane Lynch, Cory Monteith, Chris Colfer, Amber Riley, Jayma Mays, Naya Rivera, Chord Overstreet, Kevin McHale, Heather Morris, Jenna Ushkowitz, Dianna Agron, and Mark Salling.
