Promises, Promises‘ Molly Shannon to Star in HBO Comedy About a Former Nun
Molly Shannon, currently co-starring as Marge MacDougall in Broadway’s Promises, Promises, will star in a not-yet-titled HBO comedy about a former nun, according to a report on Deadline.com.
The project is being written and produced by Tim Long, and will concern a woman in her early 40s who leaves the convent, and must adjust to life in the outside world.
Shannon’s many film and television credits include Saturday Night Live, Glee, Kath & Kim, Superstar, Sex and the City, and The Music Man.
