On Monday, November 8, the Signature Theatre held their 20th Anniversary Gala celebrating their playwright-in-residence, Tony Kushner. Kushner’s Angels in America is currently running at the company’s Peter Norton Space through February 20.

Guests at the gala also included Linda Emond, Michael Greif, Bill Heck, Christine Jones, Zoe Kazan, Maggie Lacey, Michael Mayer, Mike Nichols, Edward Norton, Suzan-Lori Parks, Billy Porter, Zachary Quinto, Frank Rich, Dallas Roberts, Stephen Spinella, and Robin Weigert.

As previously announced, Signature Theatre’ season will also include the New York premiere of The Intelligent Homosexual Guide to Capitalism and Socialism with a Key to the Scriptures, to be co-produced by the Public and Signature; Kushner’s The Illusion, a freely adapted version of Pierre Corneille’s L’Illusion Comique; and the Tony Kushner Reading Series, which will feature readings of selected other plays from Tony Kushner’s body of work.
