PHOTO FLASH: Liza Minnelli and Arlene Dahl at Academy Theater at Lighthouse International Grand Re-opening Ceremony

Tony and Oscar winner Liza Minnelli and stage and screen star Arlene Dahl were among the attendees at the Academy Theater at Lighthouse International Grand Re-opening Ceremony, held on Tuesday, November 16.
The renovation was made possible through a donation by Charles S. Cohen, a board member of the Lighthouse, and his wife, Clo. Theater designer Theodore Kalomirakis oversaw the refurbishing of the theater’s interior, which has also had its sound and projection equipment upgraded to the latest industry standards.
Additional attendees included Commissioner of the New York City Office of Film Katherine Oliver, President of AMPAS Tom Sherak and the CEO of Lighthouse International Mark Ackermann.
