PHOTO FLASH: Lea Michele, Hugh Dancy, Kelsey Grammer in Studio for Dorothy of Oz Animated Feature

Broadway stars Lea Michele, Kelsey Grammer, Hugh Dancy, Megan Hilty, Martin Short, and Oliver Platt will be among the stars of Summertime Entertainment’s animated 3D musical Dorothy of Oz. Dan St. Pierre is directing the film.

The film, an update on The Wizard of Oz has been written by Randi Barnes, Adam Balsam and Barry Glasser, and features songs and lyrics by Bryan Adams and Jim Vallance. Musical components are being supervised by Vicki Hiatt with lyrics by Tift Merritt and Mike Himelstein. Jim Dooley has also contributed to the score.
