PHOTO FLASH: Laura Benanti and Steven Pasquale Attend Gavin Creel’s Birdland Concert

Two-time Tony Award nominee Gavin Creel kicked off a series of performances of his new concert show, Back to New York at Birdland on Monday, November 1. Additional shows will be held Mondays, November 8 and 15 at 7pm.

Among the opening night guests were Tony Award winner Laura Benanti, currently starring on Broadway in Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown, and her husband, Broadway veteran and Rescue Me star Steven Pasquale.

Creel received Tony nominations for his performances in Hair and Thoroughly Modern Millie. The artist’s Birdland residency celebrates the release of Creel’s new EP, “Quiet.”
