Tony Award winners Joel Grey, Sheldon Harnick, and Harold Prince were among the guests who joined Parks commissioner Adrian Benepe and Cultural Affairs commissioner Kate Levin in Duffy Square on November 10 for the ceremonial unveiling of a plaque paying tribute to Mayor John V. Lindsay.

The plaque honors Lindsay’s for his contributions to the Broadway Theatre including creation of the TKTS Booth, located in Duffy Square.

Attendees at the even also included Richard Gottfried, Jay Kriegel, Kathy Lindsay Lake, Mary D. Lindsay, John Lindsay Jr., Robert Lindsay, Margaret Lindsay Picotte, and Earl Wiener.
