PHOTO FLASH: Dee Snider and the School of Rock All-Stars Raise Awareness for Children’s Miracle Network

On Thursday, November 18, rock star Dee Snider — currently starring as Dennis in Broadway’s Rock of Ages — joined the School of Rock music program’s All Stars for a one-hour afternoon concert at Gotham Comedy Club to raise awareness for the Children’s Miracle Network.

Kaitlin Clutter and Alena Galan opened the event by speaking about how Children’s Miracle Network has helped them. The School of Rock is a national music program for kids with 60 locations in the US. The All Stars are some of the program’s best students from across the country, including Chris Cummings, Korina Dabundo, David Hooper, Grayson Kohs, Kelly Sabatino, and Jake Taenzler.

Snider is best known for his work as part of the band Twisted Sister. He also has a nationally syndicated radio show House of Hair.
