Four-time Tony Award winner Jerry Zaks will direct the production. Additional casting will be announced at a later date.

The show features an original score with music by Alan Menken and lyrics by Glenn Slater, a book by Cheri and Bill Steinkellner, and choreography by Anthony Van Laast. As previously reported, Whoopi Goldberg, who starred in the film Sister Act, will be among the producers.

The production will feature scenery by Klara Zieglerova, costumes by Lez Brotherston, lighting by Natasha Katz, and sound by Mick Potter. The production team will also include musical supervisor Michael Kosarin and orchestrator Doug Besterman.

Miller starred in the London production of Sister Act, for which she received an Olivier Award nomination for Best Actress in a Musical and won the Whatsonstage.com Theatregoers Choice Award. Her prior credits include the role of Dionne in The Public Theatre's 2008 production of Hair at the Delacorte Theatre.
