Grammy Award winners Noel Paul Stookey and Peter Yarrow, of “Peter, Paul, and Mary” fame, will join the New York Choral Society for a holiday concert at Stern Auditorium at Carnegie Hall, on Tuesday, December 7 at 8pm. Robert De Cormier will serve as music director

The evening will feature traditional holiday carols as well as the iconic singers’ newly recorded version of “‘Twas the Night Before Christmas”; their time-honored classics such as “This Land is Your Land,” “Weave Me The Sunshine” and “Puff, The Magic Dragon”; and a new arrangement of “Auld Lang Syne” written by Yarrow and Stookey, in tribute of the late Mary Travers.

Stookey and Yarrow, along with Travers, appeared on Broadway in the concerts “From Bleecker to Broadway” (1986) and “A Holiday Celebration” (1989).
