Lewis Cleale, Jill Paice, Rita Gardner, et al. Set for TRU Love Benefit

Broadway veterans Lewis Cleale, Jill Paice, and Rita Gardner will headline Theatre Resources Unlimited’s annual TRU Love Benefit, to be held at Caroline’s on Broadway, on Sunday, November 14 at Noon.

The event will include a cocktail hour and a three-course luncheon, followed by entertainment and an awards ceremony. Performers will also include Erin Crosby, Bryn Holdsworth, Dan Kohler and Trisha Rapier, along with the Inside Broadway Kids, fifth graders from P.S. 97 in Brooklyn (Ashley Choi, Nicole Gallardo, Vako Gvelesiani, Arjona Kulla, Cindy Reka, Quinn Rosciano and Michael Tagliarini). The afternoon will be co-hosted by the comedy team Stone and Stone, and there will be pre-show magic by Michael Chaut.

The theme of the benefit will be “Fulfilling Promises, Fulfilling Promise,” and it will honor producer Patricia Flicker Addiss with the TRU Spirit of Theater Award; Inside Broadway’s founder and artistic director Michael Presser with the TRU Humanitarian Award; and comedian and Emmy-winning writer Ted Greenberg with the TRU Entrepreneur Award.
