Kritzerland to Release Original Cast Recording of Bukowsical in December

The original cast recording of Spencer Green and Gary Stockdale’s Bukowsical will be released by Kritzerland in late December.

The show, originally seen at the Sacred Fools Theater and then, presented as part of the New York International Fringe Festival, centers on a fictious theatre company that’s trying to present a musical biography of the provocative writer.

The company for the recording features Nadia Ahern, Brad Blaisdell, Matthew Garland, David Goldsmith, Michael Lanahan, Cason Murphy, Fleur Phillips, and Lauren Rubin.

Among the songs on the 19-track disc are “Art Is Pain,” “The Derelict Trail,” “Slippery Slope,” and “12 Steps of Love.”
