Kate Baldwin, Jane Kaczmarek, Nellie McKay, Maureen Moore, and Dick Scanlan are scheduled to perform at The American Songbook Project’s Name That Tune Costume Party Benefit to be held on November 6 at the Edison Ballroom. As previously announced, Tony Award-winning director Michael Mayer and legendary singer Margaret Whiting will be honored at the event, where attendees are asked to come dressed as a song title (costumes are optional).

Along with news of the performers to be featured at the benefit, it has been announced that Brooke Shields and John McDaniel have created a special “lot” for the live auction to be held alongside the performance: a private concert, created and performed by Shields and McDaniel, for a winning bidder and up to 30 of his or her friends. Jim Caruso will host the auction.

Mayer won the Tony for Spring Awakening and a Drama Desk for American Idiot. He will also be directing a new version of the Alan Jay Lerner-Burton Lane musical On a Clear Day You Can See Forever, at the Vineyard Theatre in January.

Whiting first gained fame as a singer in the 1940s. She appeared on Broadway in the musical revue Dream, and also starred in touring productions of Gypsy, Call Me Madam, and Pal Joey.
