Heidi Blickenstaff, Josh Grisetti, Brad Oscar, et al. Set for AMAS’ Aesop and Company Musical

Heidi Blickenstaff, Kimberly Fauré, Matt Ferrell, Jennifer Frankel, Josh Grisetti, John Christopher Jones, Alli Mauzey, Sean McKnight, Brad Oscar, Amber Owens, Blair Ross, Josh Rouah, Danny Rutigliano, Jennifer Smith, Edward Watts, and Anthony Wayne will be featured in workshop performances of the new musical Aesop and Company, at the New 42nd Street Studios, December 16-18. Jay Binder will direct, with musical direction by Eric Stern and choreography by Warren Carlyle.

Presented by AMAS Musical Theatre, the work features book and lyrics by Jay Jeffries, with book and music by John McMahon. The show is a comic tale of how the famed fabulist’s career was launched, an evil king’s plots foiled, and a gorgeous slave woman wooed and won.

The presentations are part of the ongoing Amas Lab and Workshop Series, a development program for writers, lyricists and composers to develop and advance their new musicals.
