HBO Will Not Proceed with Production of John Logan’s My Miraculous Year
HBO will not proceed with the new hour-long drama series The Miraculous Year, according to a report on Deadline.com. Kathryn Bigelow directed the pilot episode of the project, created by playwright and screenwriter John Logan.
The show focused on a self-destructive Broadway composer (Norbert Leo Butz), his powerful painter father Alex (Frank Langella) and his attorney sister Mandy Vance (Hope Davis).
Also featured in the cast were Eddie Redmayne, Linus Roache and Patti LuPone, and the pilot included guest appearances from Susan Sarandon and Lee Pace.
