Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright David Auburn will direct Michael Weller’s Side Effects, to run May 12-June 26 at the Lucille Lortel Theatre, with an official opening set for May 31.

Auburn received the Pulitzer Prize for writing Proof, and his adaptation of Langdon Mitchell’s 1906 comedy The New York Idea will be seen at the Lortel Theatre, in an Atlantic theater Company production, January 6-February 13.. As a director, he recently staged Edward Albee’s A Delicate Balance at the Berkshire Theatre Festival.
