Christina Bianco, Christine Pedi, Michael West, et al. Set for NEWSical the Musical Off-Broadway

Casting has been announced for a new edition of Rick Crom’s NEWSical the Musical, to begin performances on December 13 at The Kirk at Theatre Row, in anticipation of an official opening on January 9. Mark Waldrop will direct the production, which will have music direction by Ed Goldschneider.

The topical musical comedy lampoons current events, headlines, newsmakers, celebrities, and politicians. Songs and material are updated on a regular basis. The company will feature Christine Pedi, Christina Bianco, Michael West, John Walton West, Amy Griffin and Tommy Walker.

The creative team will include Jason Courson (scenic design) and David Kally (costume design).
