Brenda Braxton to Offer December 12 It’s a Wonderful LIfe Concert

Brenda Braxton will offer It’s a Wonderful Life, a one-night-only holiday concert, at the Triad Theatre on December 12 at 8pm. Michael Mitchell will serve as musical director.

The performance will feature seasonal tunes as well as other material.

Braxton received a Tony Award nomination for her performance in Smokey Joe’s Café. Among her many other stage credits are Chicago, Jelly’s Last Jam, Cats, Legs Diamond, and Dreamgirls on Broadway, as well as House of Flowers for City Center’s Encores! series and Little Ham off-Broadway. In addition, she co-directed and choreographed a 2001 concert version of Dreamgirls.
