Among the theater-related highlights are actors Christopher Fitzgerald and Jeremy Shamos joining Gutenberg! The Musical! creators Anthony King and Scott Brown (November 5 at 5:30pm); Kenneth Turan on Free for All : Joe Papp, the Public, and the Greatest Theater Story Ever Told (November 5 at 7:30pm); Isabella Rossellini with Toby Talbot discussing The New Yorker Theater (November 11 at 7:30pm); and Marvin Hamlisch and Donna McKechnie performing as part of an event celebrating the Chorus Line documentary Every Little Step (November 12 at 4:30pm).
Events will also include Bert Fink, Laurence Maslon, Theodore Bikel, Lauri Peters, Brian Davies, and Sam von Trapp taking part in The Sound of Music 50th Anniversary Celebration (November 16 at 5pm); Brian Blessed and Ted Sod discussing New Victory Theater's production of Peter and the Wolf (November 17 at 6pm); Steve Ross and Klea Blackhurst performing as part of a discussion and book signing for Barry Day and Robert Kimball's book, The Complete Lyrics of Johnny Mercer (November 17 at 7:30pm); Brian Stokes Mitchell performing in celebration of the picture book Lights on Broadway (November 20 at 5pm); and vocal ensemble Spiritus who perform Broadway, gospel, and pop (November 30 at 7:30pm).
The store's Any Wednesday series will include Herb Keyser (November 4), Moira Danis (November 11), and Ken Greves (November 18). The Cool Mondays series will feature Pamela Luss (November 2), Capathia Jenkins and Louis Rosen (November 23), and Marieann Meringolo (November 30).
