Tale of Two Cities Concert to Be Broadcast on PBS Beginning November 26

The concert version of the Broadway musical A Tale of Two Cities, filmed this past summer at England’s Theater Royal Brighton, will be Broadcast on PBS stations, beginning November 26.

The concert is narrated by Michael York, and features an international cast including James Barbour as Sydney Carlton, Brandi Burkhardt as Lucie Manette, Natalie Toro as Madame DeFarge, Kevin Earley as Ernest Defarge, J. Mark McVey as Dr. Manette, Simon Thomas as Charles Darnay, Rosemary Leach as Miss Pross, Ed Dixon as John Barsad, Kelley Dorney as Seamstress, Nigel Richards as Stryver, Paul Baker as Marquis, Howard Samuels as Jerry Cruncher, Stuart Ramsay as Gaspard, James Gillan as Young Man, Lincoln Stone as Gabelle, Catherine Missal as Little Lucie, Adam Pearce as French President, Turnkey, Miles Kath as Little Gaspard, and Victoria Hamilton-Barritt as Young Woman.

The ensemble includes Kristin Contrino, Stephanie Cowan, David Cregan, Haley Flaherty, Alexandra Howley, Donn Lamkin, Marjorie Lopez-Tibbs, Joanna Loxton, Lauren Marcus, Corey Mosello, Emily Poworoznek, and Andrew Start.

Some of the stations and Broadcast times include New York NJN (Sunday December 6 at 4:30pm , Friday December 11 at 8pm), Philadelphia WHYY (Sunday December 6 at 8pm), San Francisco KQED HD (Sunday December 6 at 9pm, Tuesday December 8 at 1pm, and Monday November 30 at 7pm on KQED LIFE and KTEH), Boston WGBH (Thursday November 26 at 9pm on 2, Sunday November 29 at 4pm on 44), Tampa WEDU (Friday December 4 at 12pm), Miami WPBT (Sunday November 29 at 4:30pm), West Palm Beach WXEL (Tuesday December 1 at 8pm and 11:30pm, Sunday December 6 at 7pm), and Seattle KBTC (Friday December 11 at 8:30pm, Saturday December 19 at 10pm, Sunday December 20 at 4pm).
