Klea Blackhurst to Reprise Everything The Traffic Will Allow at Snapple Theatre Center

Klea Blackhurst will bring back her critically acclaimed show Everything the Traffic Will Allow: The Songs and Sass of Ethel Merman at the Snapple Theater Center (210 West 50th Street). on Saturdays at 5pm, beginning November 21.

There will be special added holiday performances on Friday, November 27 at and Friday, January 1 at 3pm. There is no performance on December 5 and there is a three week hiatus from January 30 to February 13.

Blackhurst brings bright new interpretations of Merman’s signature songs such as “I Got Rhythm,” “Everything’s Coming Up Roses” and “There’s No Business Like Show Business,” as well as rarely performed obscurities including “Just A Moment Ago,” “I’ve Still Got My Health,” and “World Take Me Back.”

Blackhurst, who has won both the MAC and the Back Stage Bistro Award, has performed at Joe’s Pub, Birdland, Carnegie Hall, the London Palladium, Royal Albert Hall, and many other top venues. Her stage credits include Chicago, Bingo, Anything Goes, Radio Gals, and By Jupiter.
