Free for All: Joe Papp, the Public, and the Greatest Theater Story Ever Told, a new book by Papp and Kenneth Turan, will go on sale officially on Tuesday, November 3. The book is published by Doubleday.

The book is based in part on interviews Turan did with over 160 people, including Meryl Streep, George C. Scott, Colleen Dewhurst, Kevin Kline, Madeline Kahn, James Earl Jones, Raul Julia, Martin Sheen, Christopher Walken, Donna McKechnie, Linda Ronstadt, and Sam Waterston.

Turan has been the film critic for The Los Angeles Times since 1991 and also provides reviews for NPR.
