Ellis has appeared on Broadway in Joe Turner's Come and Gone, Drowning Crow, and The Tempest. She starred in the Shakespeare in the Park production of The Winter's Tale. Her previous television credits include E-Ring, Justice, True Blood, and The Good Wife.
