Anna Deavere Smith’s Let Me Down Easy Extends Until January 3

Anna Deavere Smith’s solo show, Let Me Down Easy has extended at Second Stage Theatre until January 3. The show is directed by Leonard Foglia. There are no performances the week of December 14.
The work explores the world of health care from both the patient and practitioner perspective, and is based upon interviews Smith conducted with a wide variety of sources, including Lance Armstrong, Anderson Cooper, and former Texas Governor Ann Richards.
Smith’ s previous shows include Fires in the Mirror, and Twilight: Los Angeles. She is also known for her film and TV work, including a role on the NBC series The West Wing.
