Adam James to Join Hugh Dancy, Andrea Riseborough, Ben Whishaw in MCC’s The Pride

Adam James will join previously announced stars Hugh Dancy, Andrea Riseborough, and Ben Whishaw in MCC’s production of Alexi Kaye Campbell’s The Pride, to play the Lucille Lortel Theatre, January 27-March 20, with an opening set for February 16. Tony Award winner Joe Mantello will direct the production.

The play, which concerns a complex love triangle replete with conflicting loyalties and passions, jumps from 1958 to the present.

James has appeared at many U.K. theaters, including the National, Royal Court and Trafalgar Studios. On screen, he’s appeared in movies such as Last Chance Harvey and Mother of Tears.

The creative includes set designer David Zinn, costume designer Mattie Ullrich, lighting designer Paul Gallo, and sound designer Jill DuBoff.
