Van Hansis will be among the 40-person cast of Les Freres Corbusier’s Dance Dance Revolution, created by the company and featuring original songs by Gary Adler and Phoebe Kreutz. The production will play the Ohio Theater, December 3-20. Alex Timbers will direct.

Les Freres will transform the Ohio Theater into a fully immersive, bombed-out discothèque as it fuses Japanese rave music with sophomoric comedy in a futuristic dance spectacular. The show is inspired by the wildly popular video game of the same name. Additional cast members will include B. Brian Argotsinger, Greg Hildreth, Amelia McClain, Vayu O’Donnell, Ben Steinfeld, and Ian Unterman.

Les Freres Corbusier’s prior works include the OBIE Award-winning A Very Merry Unauthorized Children’s Scientology Pageant, Boozy, Hell House, and Heddatron. Timbers serves as artistic director and has directed all of the company’s shows.

Hansis is best known for playing gay teen Luke Snyder on the CBS daytime drama As The World Turns, and appeared Off Broadway last season in Die Mommie Die!
