Casting Agent Alee Ralph Dies at 45

Production Supervisor/Casting Agent Alee Ralph passed away on November 3, in New York. He was 45.

Ralph was born August 27, 1963 in Alabama and graduated from Wagner College with a Bachelor’s of Arts. He is best known as the Production Supervisor at Big League Theatricals for 17 years, and spent the last ten as the casting director. In his position, Ralph discovered rising non-equity talent and gave many young actors early national and international touring experience, including Broadway alums Jordan Ballard, Heidi Blickenstaff, Jeff Bowen, and Evan Harrington.

Ralph is survived by his mother Bonnie Jean Johnston, her husband Charles Johnston, his sister Liza, a brother, Jesse, and his life partner, Tom Reiter.
