Legendary Hollywood star Tony Martin and Tony Award winner Betty Buckley will open the 2008 season at Feinstein’s at the Loews Regency (540 Park Avenue).

Martin, who recently turned 95, will play the club from January 29 to February 2. He appeared in such classic film musicals as Show Boat, Til the Clouds Roll By, Easy to Love, and Hit the Deck, as well as his television series The Tony Martin Show. For this engagement, he will sing such hits as “Begin the Beguine,” “Let’s Face the Music and Dance,” and “A Foggy Day,” and tell stories about his many friends and co-stars, including Rita Hayworth, Judy Garland, and his wife, Cyd Charisse.

Buckley will make her fourth appearance at the club, February 5-23. She received a Tony for her work in Cats and starred on Broadway in 1776, Pippin, Triumph of Love, and Sunset Boulevard, among other shows. She recently released the CD Betty Buckley 1967, which was recorded 40 years ago.
