A slew of stars attended the opening, including film star Emily Mortimer, now on the big screen in Lars and the Real Girl, with her handsome husband, actor Alessandro Nivola…
Lars co-star Patricia Clarkson — who will return to the stage on December 3 for the Vineyard’s reunion reading of Raised in Captivity — and two-time Tony Award nominee Amy Ryan, who’s earning Oscar buzz for her work in Gone Baby Gone…
…the talented Pablo Schreiber, last seen on stage in Dying City….
…and New Group alumnus Parker Posey, set to return to television this season in The Adventures of Jezebel James.
On Tuesday night, the legendary Chita Rivera debuted her dynamic new cabaret act at Feinstein’s at Loews Regency to a packed house of fans and friends, including fellow Tony winners Bebe Neuwirth, Brian Stokes Mitchell, and Ann Reinking.
Chita’s fan club also included talk show host Regis Philbin and his lovely wife Joy….
… and award-winning Broadway star Raul Esparza, who’s in rehearsal for the revival of The Homecoming.
Finally, on Monday night, Lincoln Center Theatre celebrated the opening of its new musical The Glorious Ones. Here’s star Marc Kudisch with real-life gal pal Shannon Lewis.
After the performance, the show’s director-choreographer Graciele Daniele (right) got a hug from co-star Julyana Soelistyo.
The show’s writers, long-time collaborators Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty, were happy with their work!
