Paper Mill Playhouse Appoints Mark W. Jones as Executive Director

The Paper Mill Playhouse in Millburn, New Jersey, which almost shut its doors earlier this year due to financial difficulties, has appointed Mark W. Jones as its executive director. The position has been vacant since November 2006, when Michael Gennaro left the institution.

Jones has spent the past four years as executive director of Shakespeare & Company in Lenox, Massachusetts and spent 12 years as the executive director and producer of the Jose Limon Dance Foundation in New York City. He has also worked with Glimmerglass Opera, Music Theatre Group, and Friends of the Arts, Inc.

Paper Mill is currently presenting the musical Meet Me in St. Louis. Its season will continue with productions of The Miracle Worker, Steel Magnolias, Kiss Me, Kate, and Little Shop of Horrors.
