Brown, Burstein, Cantone, Halston, et al. Set for Gimme a Break

Transport Group will hold its annual Gimme a Break benefit at 6:30pm on Monday, December 3 at the Asia Society and Museum (725 Park Avenue). The event will be hosted by Julie Halston.

The evening will feature performances by Hunter Bell, Jeff Bowen, Ashley Brown, Danny Burstein, Mario Cantone, Jerry Dixon, Anne Meara, Sean Palmer, David Pittu, Daphne Rubin-Vega, Seth Rudetsky, and Jerry Stiller.

The company will also bestow its Humanitarian Awards on producer Barbara Freitag, a founding member of the group’s Board of Directors, and Michael Patrick King, co-author of the group’s upcoming production of Marcy in the Galaxy and a two-time Emmy Award winner for his work on Sex and the City.
