Lili Taylor, Firdous Bamji, Arliss Howard, Richard Montoya, and Paul Sparks will star in a free staged reading of Itamar Moses’ Celebrity Row to be presented at 8:30pm on Thursday, November 2 as part of the Public Theater’s New Work Now! Festival. The reading will be directed by Oskar Eustis, the Public’s artistic director.

The play is set in Colorado’s Supermax prison, where Latin Kings leader Luis Felipe (Montoya) gets transferred. Attorney Maze Caroll (Taylor) attacks his sentence as unconstitutional, but Felipe’s fellow inmates Ted Kaczynski (Howard), Timothy McVeigh (Sparks), and Ramzi Yousef (Bamji) have other ideas about how to use her assistance.
Moses’ other work includes Bach at Leipzing, The Four of Us, and Outrage.

Taylor’s New York stage credits include Three Sisters, Aunt Dan and Lemon, and Landscape of the Body (which co-starred Sparks). Her many film and television credits include Mystic Pizza, I Shot Andy Warhol, and Six Feet Under.
