Mary Beth Fisher, Maggie Siff, and Jay Whittaker will join previously announced star Peter Weller and Harris Yulin in Frank’s Home, Richard Nelson’s drama about architect Frank Lloyd Wright, at Playwrights Horizons. The production, to be directed by Tony Award winner Robert Falls, will run January 12-February 18 and will open officially on January 30. It is coming to New York intact from Chicago’s Goodman Theatre, where it is now playing and will continue through December 23.

The play is set in the summer of 1923, when Wright, who has recently moved to California, is trying to mend his broken relationships with his adult children and revive his failing career. Nelson received a Tony Award for the musical The Dead; among his other works are Rodney’s Wife, Madame Melville, Two Shakespearean Actors, and Some Americans Abroad.

The creative team for Frank’s Home includes Thomas Lynch (sets), Susan Hilferty (costumes), Michael Phillipi (lighting), and Richard Woodbury (sound). Falls received the Tony Award for his direction of the revival of Death of a Salesman and a Tony nomination for the revival of Long Day’s Journey Into Night. He will direct the Broadway production of Eric Bogosian’s Talk Radio next year.

Weller, who will play Wright, has been seen on Broadway in Sticks and Bones, Summer Brave, and Full Circle; he is best known for his appearances in such films as Robocop and Shoot the Moon. Yulin, who will play architect Louis Sullivan, has starred on Broadway in Hedda Gabler, The Price, and The Diary of Anne Frank, and was seen last season at Playwrights Horizons in Fran’s Bed.

Fisher, who will play Wright’s mistress Miriam Noel, has appeared on the New York stage in The Night of the Iguana, Boy Gets Girl, and Extremities. Siff, who will play Catherine Wright Baxter, played Lulu in the Public Theater production of The Ruby Sunrise. Whittaker, who will play Frank’s son, Lloyd Wright, has performed with the Royal Shakespeare Company. The cast of Frank’s Home also includes Chris Henry Coffey as Kenneth Baxter, Jeremy Strong as William, and Holley Fain as Helen.
