Constantine Maroulis will join the Off-Broadway revival of Jacques Brel is Alive and Well and Living in Paris at the Zipper Theatre on Tuesday, January 9. He will replace Jim Stanek.

A former contestant on the hit series American Idol, Maroulis is currently starring on Broadway as Sammy in The Wedding Singer. He has appeared throughout the U.S. and internationally as Roger in Rent, and appeared in the Williamstown Theatre Festival production of God of Vengeance.

The cast of Jacques Brel includes Robert Cuccioli, Natascia Diaz, and Gay Marshall, all of whom have been with the show since it began performances in spring 2006. The show’s original cast CD (with Rodney Hicks in the role now played by Stanek) will be officially released later this month.
