Balsam, Gross, Mathis, et al. Set for Free Reading of From Up Here

Talia Balsam, Scott Ferrara, Emily Grace, Halley Wegryn Gross, Samantha Mathis, Will Rogers, Matthew Stadelmann, and Joel Van Liew will star in a free reading of Liz Flahive’s From Up Here at 3pm on Friday, November 3 at Ars Nova (511 West 54th Street). The reading, part of the Next Step Series, will be directed by Leigh Silverman.

After a misguided cry for help goes awry, Kenny Barrett’s every move is closely monitored by people clamoring to “help” him. But withstanding all the rehab and repair proves to be a bigger challenge than getting through his senior year.

Flahive’s previous works include the 10-minute plays Last Word and See Jane… Silverman’s many directorial credits include Well, Blue Door, The Treatment, and Oedipus at Palm Springs.
