Ballard, Chalfant, Redgrave, et al. in "Legends of the Village" Calendar

Kaye Ballard, Kathleen Chalfant, and Lynn Redgrave will be featured in the “2007 Legends of the Village” Calendar. Proceeds from the calendar, which costs $12.95, will benefit Village Care of New York, which provides health services to seniors and people living with HIV/AIDS in New York City.

The calendar will also feature journalist Jerry Talmer, artist Chuck Close, poet Stanley Kunitz, author Samuel Delany, City Councilwoman Carol Greitzer, poet Richard Howard, civil rights activist Norma Becker, writer-teacher Harriet Sohmers-Zwerling, and psychologist George Weinberg.

Village Care will also hold a benefit on Monday, November 13 at Strata (915 Broadway). At the event, singer Judy Collins will receive the group’s William F. Passannante Award and the Reverend Monsignor Charles J. Fahey will receive the Lenore Zola Award.
