Wendy Wasserstein to Speak at Lincoln Center on November 16

Wendy Wasserstein, author of the new play Third, will speak as part of Lincoln Center Theater’s Platform Series at 6:30pm on Wednesday, November 16 in the lobby of the Vivian Beaumont Theater (150 West 65th Street).

In Third, currently on stage at the Mitzi Newhouse, college professor Laurie Jameson (played by Dianne Wiest) accuses one of her students (played by Jason Ritter) of plagiarizing his paper on King Lear. Directed by Daniel Sullivan, the Lincoln Center Theater production co-stars Charles Durning, Gaby Hoffman, and Amy Aquino.

Wasserstein is also the author of such plays as The Sisters Rosensweig (currently being revived by Boston’s Huntington Theatre Company), The Heidi Chronicles, and Uncommon Women and Others.
