No Flood of Ticket Buyers: The Ark Closes After Eight Performances

The Ark, the new musical by Michael McLean and Kevin Kelly based on the Biblical story of Noah, closed yesterday at the 37 Arts theater, having played 36 previews and eight regular performances. The show starred Adrian Zmed and Annie Golden as Noah and his wife Emily.

In their review of the production for TheaterMania, Barbara and Scott Siegel wrote: “Director Ray Roderick has all the elements at his disposal for putting on an entertaining family musical except a good book (this one is bad even though it’s based on The Good Book) and a memorable score.”
