Drama Desk to Discuss "Putting the Spin on Theater"

Jersey Boys co-writer Rick Elice, publicist Bob Fennell, producer/playwright Stewart F. Lane, New York Post columnist Michael Reidel, and Wicked producer David Stone will participate in the Drama Desk panel discussion “Putting the Spin on Theater –The Art of Getting Press and Luring Audiences,”on Monday, Nov. 21 at Tony’s Di Napoli Restaurant (147 West 43rd Street). A reception/buffet dinner will begin at 5pm, with the discussion scheduled to start at 6:15pm.

The discussion will be co-hosted by TheaterMania columnist Peter Filichia and Randie Levine-Miller director of special events for The Drama Desk. The participants will talk about the strategic changes that have taken place in recent years for publicizing and marketing Broadway and Off-Broadway productions, how to gain exposure for theatrical productions, and how the Internet is influencing the marketing of theater.
