Dan Castellaneta, Hector Elizondo, Robert Foxworth, Kevin Kilner, and Richard Kind head the cast of the upcoming L.A. Theatre Works production of Reginald Rose’s classic drama Twelve Angry Men, November 30-December 4. The production, to be directed by John DeLanicie, will be broadcast as part of LATW’s nationally syndicated radio theater series The Play’s the Thing.

Twelve Angry Men tells the story of a group of jurors who must decide the fate of a teenaged boy accused of killing his father. It was written as a teleplay in 1954, was made into a successful film (starring Henry Fonda) in 1957, and was recently seen on Broadway in a popular production by the Roundabout Theatre Company.

Castellaneta is the Emmy-Award winning actor who voices Homer Simpson on The Simpsons. Elizondo’s many film credits include Pretty Woman and The Princess Diaries; he was also a regular on the CBS series Chicago Hope. His Broadway credits include The Price, The Prisoner of Second Avenue, and Sly Fox. Foxworth appeared in the Roundabout’s Twelve Angry Men and was recently seen on the L.A. stage in Honour opposite his Falcon Crest co-star Susan Sullivan. Kilner has been seen on the New York stage in The Glass Menagerie and Dinner With Friends, and recently appeared on TV in One Tree Hill. Kind starred on Broadway in The Producers and co-starred in the hit TV series Spin City and Mad About You.
