Nicholas Belton, Celia Keenan-Bolger, Deborah Lew, and Robb Sapp will co-star in a one-hour “preview presentation” of Barry Wyner’s new musical Calvin Berger at 6:30pm on Monday, November 7 at the 45th Street Theatre (354 West 45th Street). Directed by Anthony King, the presentation is co-produced by the Musical Mondays Theatre Lab and Musicals Tonight!

In this update of Cyrano de Bergerac, Calvin Berger is a 12th-grader who is grappling with insecurity about the size of his nose. Lacking the courage to ask the girl of his dreams for a date, he communicates his feelings to her through a handsome kid who’s new to the school. The musical is the winner of the 2005 Jerry Bock Award.

Belton is currently starring in the Transport Group’s production of Normal. Keenan-Bolger received a 2005 Tony Award nomination for the role of Olive in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, which she continues to play. Lew was seen Off-Broadway in Cupid and Psyche. Sapp is currently appearing on Broadway as Boq in Wicked.

All tickets for Calvin Berger are priced at $10; call 212-989-6706 or e-mail musicalmondays@aol.com for reservations.
