Korbich et al. Have Insomnia

A public staged reading of the new musical Insomnia will be presented by The York Theatre Company on Monday, November 18, at 7:30pm. The cast of the reading includes Eddie Korbich (Seussical, Carousel)), Patricia Ben Peterson (Company), Pierce Cravens (Tom Sawyer), Eric Michael Gillett (Sweet Smell of Success, Kiss Me, Kate), Marc Goldhaber (School House Rock Live!), Marta Sanders (The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas), and Jerry Tellier (42nd Street, Smokey Joe’s Café).

Insomnia is described as “a musical comedy in which a gay screenwriter tosses and turns with his own nocturnal demons on a kaleidoscopic journey towards love, family and the dawn of self-discovery.” The book, music, and lyrics for the show are by Charles Bloom. The York reading will be directed by Donald Brenner, and Jeffrey Biering will serve as musical director.
