The Amazing Magic Theatre Ltd. has announced plans to stage Janne Raudaskoski's acclaimed Wally Watthead and His Lost Glow at New World Stages for one night only. The multifaceted theater experience, which has played to audiences in London, Russia, China, and elsewhere, will have its American premiere on January 14, 2014.

The family-friendly show tells the story of a desk lamp named Wally Watthead who loses his glow. So Wally and his friend Simon Simcard embark on a series of adventures in a quest to get his glow back. Their friendship, however, is put to the test when Polly Picture, whom Wally is fond of, comes to life.

Wally Watthead and His Lost Glow incorporates magic, clowning, mime, black-light theater, video, various special effects, and humor. The show was conceived by Finnish magician Raudaskoski, who stars as Wally opposite Tuija Nuojua as Polly Picture and Jonathan Hutchings as the voice of Simon Simcard, and is directed by Sam Rannila.
