Tony Award winner Nina Arianda (Venus in Fur) is set to return to Manhattan Theatre Club in the previously announced world premiere of David Grimm's Tales From Red Vienna. The production will begin previews on February 26, with an opening night planned for March 18. Kate Whoriskey (Ruined) will direct.

Tales From Red Vienna is a poetic new work that explores the effects of war on women. Set following World War I, it tells the story of Heléna (Arianda), who, in the struggle to maintain her lifestyle after losing her husband, becomes part of an illicit underworld, a secret that she must keep separate from her public persona.

The creative team includes John Lee Beatty (scenic design), Anita Yavich (costume design), Peter Kaczorowski (lighting design), Rob Milburn and Michael Bodeen (sound design), and Thomas Schall (fight direction).
