Disaster!, a 1970s-disaster-movie musical written by Seth Rudetsky and Jack Plotnick, began previews off-Broadway at the St. Luke's Theatre on Monday, October 14. Its opening night is set for Monday, November 4.

It's the summer of 1979, and New York City's best-dressed are decked out in polyester threads and platform shoes for the opening of Manhattan's first cruise-ship casino and disco. But when one disaster follows another, will the passengers make it out alive?

The cast, led by Rudetsky, features two-time Tony nominee Mary Testa (On The Town), John Treacy Egan (Nice Work If You Can Get It), Haven Burton (Legally Blonde), Tom Riis Farrell (Coram Boy), Michele Ragusa (Urinetown), Robb Sapp (Wicked), Jennifer Simard (Sister Act), Sherz Aletaha, Charity Dawson, Saum Eskandani, Matt Farcher, Maggie McDowell, and Jonah Verdon.

Directed by Plotnick, the production features choreography by Denis Jones.
