Sheldon Harnick and More to Be Honored by the Anti-Defamation League

Producers Harriet Newman Leve and Adam Blanshay will also be honored at the centennial celebration.

The New York Region of the Anti-Defamation League will honor legendary lyricist Sheldon Harnick (Fiddler on the Roof) and others at The Anti-Defamation League and Broadway: Side by Side Against Hate for 100 Years on November 25. The celebration, commemorating the Anti-Defamation League's 100 years of achievement, will showcase Broadway talent. The event will take place at the Hudson Theatre

Harnick will receive the Lifetime Achievement Award, while producer Harriet Newman Leve (War Horse) will take home the Distinguished Leadership Award. Adam Blanshay (Kinky Boots) will be honored with the Future Broadway Award.

The evening will be directed by Ted Sperling (South Pacific) and penned by Jonathan Tolins (Buyer & Cellar). The Broadway showcase will feature Jason Robert Brown (Bridges of Madison County), Carolee Carmello (Scandalous), Robert Cuccioli (Jekyll & Hyde), Eden Espinosa (Brooklyn), Lilias White (The Life), Randy Graff (Fiddler on the Roof), and Michael McElroy (Big River). The evening will also feature The Mark Stuart Dance Company and the New York City Youth Pride Chorus. Comedian Paul Rodriguez will also be featured.
