Lincoln Center's American Songbook series has announced plans for its upcoming 16th season, which will continue to celebrate the best in American singing and songwriting. The season will run from January 28–April 5.

Performers scheduled to take part in the series include James Naughton (Democracy), Jessica Molaskey (Sunday in the Park With George), Norm Lewis (The Gershwins' Porgy and Bess), Taylor Mac (Good Person of Szechwan), and Patina Miller (Pippin).

Live From Lincoln Center will nationally broadcast four of the season's concerts in spring 2014, and all performances taking place at Kaplan Penthouse will be live-streamed via Lincoln Center's website.

In addition, the opening-night concert, taking place in the David Rubenstein Atrium on January 22, will be free to the public.
